Catskill Mountain Angler ties flies. Lots of them. Steeped in the tradition of the “Cradle of American Fly Fishing,” we tie the fly patterns that have caught trout in these Catskill waters for over a hundred years. We also like to use the vise to express our creative gene every now and then. The rich culture and history of our extensive fly tying community is a constant source of new and improved patterns and rediscovered gems from the past. Catskill Mountain Angler provides our guiding clients with the fly du jour as part of the guiding fee. We also sell fly boxes of one dozen flies, two each of six patterns, chosen seasonally, for $35.
